Solid Oak End Tables
- are small tables typically placed beside couches or armchairs. Often lamps will be placed on an end table.
- Usually bought in pairs, they accent the style of the coffee table or other furniture. Usually placed at the end of the sofa, it is a very important piece of a living room set.

Living Room / Dining Room
HiFi rack, dining room and lounge chair - not in any particular order of importance!
The hi-fi set up is probably considered the basic end of the hi-fi market. It's a Cambridge Audio DVD player, which doubles as a pretty decent CD player, a Marantz amplifier, and below is an Xbox Mediacentre connected via a wireless bridge. An old PC in the loft serves as a file server; I just VNC into it if ever I need to. Otherwise, I just dump movies and MP3s to its discs.
The dining room is open to the sitting room, this is looking towards the patio doors. The table is solid oak, weighs 90kg, matched with 6 leather chairs. There's a brown leather tub chair just visible to the right.
Finally, this is a Scandinavian lounge chair and ottoman; again, brown leather. I'd always fancied a Charles Eames lounge chair, but couldn't justify the cost. This is very nice though, and can either freely recline, or lock into any position in-between.
End view :: New farmhouse table #07
This is a photo of the end view of our new farmhouse table - an engagement present that was designed, built and delivered by the good folk at The Cool Wood Company. This was a bespoke design and build as we needed a farmhouse table that could be taken apart should we need to move. The table itself is made from 100% sustainable solid wood and is finished in oak beeswax.
