Tempered Glass Table
- Special heat-treated, high-strength safety glass which shatters into pebble-sized particles and not in slivers.
- Flat or bent glass that has been heat-treated to a high surface and/or edge compression to meet the requirements of ASTM C 1048, kind FT. Fully tempered glass, if broken, will fracture into many small pieces (dice) which are more or less cubical.
- Toughened or tempered glass is glass that has been processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. Tempered glass is made by processes which create balanced internal stresses which give the glass strength.

WIPs since Stella
I think I'm the worst about number of wips going at one time. I lucked into a very nice man who gave me 6 camper shell windows full of different colored tempered glass. I was in heaven! And I found some beautiful irridescent wrapping paper to put under the glass for 25 cents. I've been playing with tg mirrors (currently working on the 4th), got two tables going, two stepping stones in progress, a pedestal and a hurricane glass thingy. Talk about ADD!!
Oh, I forgot. A violin too...
Table 2 Completed (Mo' Day 1)
Finally finished!
I took a dried ball of grout to Lowes, and this teenage boy mixed the perfect color paint for us. It doesn't look like it matches here because of the flash, but it does.
This took us around 13 hours in total.
Somehow there's *always* evidence of a cat in every photo. LOL
