Plywood Folding Tables
- A trestle table is an item of furniture comprising two or three trestle supports linked by a longitudinal cross-member over which a board or tabletop is placed.
- Plywood is a type of manufactured wood made from thin sheets of wood. The layers are glued together so that adjacent plies have their wood grain at right angles to each other for greater strength. There are usually an odd number of plies, as symmetry makes the board less prone to warping.
- Construction material supplied in sheets, and made of three or more layers of wood veneer glued together, laid up with alternating layers having their grain perpendicular to each other; A specific grade or type of this construction material
- A type of strong thin wooden board consisting of two or more layers glued and pressed together with the direction of the grain alternating, and usually sold in sheets of four by eight feet
- a laminate made of thin layers of wood

Studio
My not-very-clean studio. This is the main workbench from the opposite corner of the room. It's in a garret window, as you may or may not be able to tell.
The workbench is made up of a sheet of plywood cut in two down the middle, with a set of folding table legs attached to each. Found the table legs on sale at Canadian Tire many years ago. They're great for moving!
The table on the left is covered on three sides in badly-sewn panels, pleated and held in place with thumbtacks. The front panels on both tables are on curtain rods suspended from cuphooks. You'll see what's under there later!
The tops are covered in a light black, low-pile corduroy which is fabulous for holding beads in place.
