Saarinen Coffee Tables
- While any small and low table can be, and is, called a coffee table, the term is applied particularly to the sets of three or four tables made from about 1790; of which the latter were called 'quartetto tables'.

- Finnish architect and city planner who moved to the United States in 1923; father of Eero Saarinen (1873-1950)
- Eero (1910–61); the son of Eliel. He designed the Memorial Arch in St. Louis 1948 and the US Embassy in London 1955–60

eames sofa compact and lane coffee table
Our new Eames Sofa Compact; another Craigslist find, road-tripped to Grand Rapids MI to get it. Thought it was grey the whole way there, arrived to find it was actually blue! Blue is already growing on me.
Lane coffee table was a great local find that we refinished ourselves.
