Bogie Disaster at Beamish!
One of our staff members *cough* may have been guilty of some over enthusiastic Bogie racing resulting in some axle damage. Fear not though, it was repaired forcefully and lived to tackle another hill!
As part of the Power from the Past event in 2011, local Scout groups built some good old fashioned bogies with some pram wheels and wood. Then they tackled a gruelling obstacle course to see who could complete it quickly and consistently. Great fun for all involved!
Grasp the wheel.
Ollie's knackered steering wheel on his Barlotti Monza. Needs replacing but they're getting a new one ASAP. In the mean time, I'm loving the depth of field and the clarity on the metal.
Spent saturday taking photos of Ollie's karts, whilst he tried to get them going. Sadly we didn't have the man power there to start up the Monza and ended up settling for the Trak Kart before the exhaust broke.
