Some time ago when thinking, I do that a lot, I came up an idea to invent as many cheesy life mottos as quickly as possible. I think I accidently invented some "real" ones as well. I think I could get 3-4 a minute, pretty good. Here are some of them, translated of course (I made them in finnish)
- When life smiles at me, I smile back.
- I don't care, I'm not interested
- Do only the things you yourself would do
- Treat yourself as you'd want yourself to be treated
- If you got a hard foot you don't need socks
- Don't be a lemon, be a pomelo
- When you lose a sock, lose them in pairs
- Aim to be a hedgehog
- Always take the second turn left.
- There are different kind of toes
- Remember to take backup copies of yourself
- Be
- Protest everything that moves, if it doesn't, protest it because it doesn't.
- Buttons are made to be pushed.
- Besides yourself, think about your innerself
- Birds don't fly out of the nest, they glide
- Swallow all the important keys
- Remember to hug your pillow
- Always go where the arrow is pointing at
- Keep the door open for possiblities, but don't leave it open!
- Keep your friends close enough so that they can't escape (I think this might a existing one)
- Smell it before you taste it, look before you step on it
- Don't rob your own bank
- There are no shortcuts to happiness, only detours
- Only be annoying to yourself and people like yourself
- You only life twice
- Don't feed the tapeworm
- Be fresh, but don't be raw
- Lighten up by looking at lights
- Dare to say no to yourself
- If you're reversing you can't see what's in front you
- Speed blurs your future
- Only step on your own toes
- Buy flowers to your hands. One for every finger
- Treat annoying people overkindly
- Be on time, and you don't need to hurry
- Only look at time when your late
- Give your hiccup to someone else, as present
- Put some sunshine on a bag and eat it
- Polish your neighbours car
- Give yourself a present, then give it forwards
- Don't trust ants
- Whisper only to those who are important
