Ninja break in
Spira breaking in the 2010 Kawasaki Ninja 250R ; engine and misc parts used in fabrication of Spira4u X-Prize competition vehicle. New Ninja ridden per Kawasaki recommended engine speed break-in period; first 0-799km max 4,000rpm, then 800-1,200km max 6,000rpm. All drives allowed for suitable warm up, driving about keeping rpm wide-ranging continually changing engine speed, putting on many different loads on motor, cruzing up and down on lots of hilly roads, using high and low gears, lower and higher rpms, keeping speeds mixed up. Oil and filter changed every 500km.
