Rockland Lake Remnant
Rockland Lake Park in Rockland County was once the location of a small hamlet of the same name. Most of the land was taken by the state for a park in 1958. Most of the town is gone, but traces remain. I found this old foundation.
Former Rockland county Alms House
Rockland County Community College was built on the site of the county's "Poor Farm". The alms house became the first building of the college and is now Brucker Hall.
