Husaberg Supermoto Wheels
- (Supermotos) Beginning in the mid-1990s, motocross machines fitted with street wheels and tires similar to those used on Sport bikes began to appear. These are known as "Supermotards," and riders of these machines compete in specially organized rallies and races.
- Modern Supermoto is a cross between motocross and road racing. Races are commonly held on road racing or medium sized go-kart tracks with an off-road section in the infield. Most supermoto race tracks have a tarmac size of 50-75% and the remaining percentage of the course is off-road.
- Got its start in the late 1970's as a fun side project for many road racers. Its first exposure to a wide audience came on the American television program ABC's Wide World of Sports in 1979.
- Husaberg is a Swedish manufacturer of off-road and supermoto four-stroke and two-stroke motorcycles. Husaberg motorcycles are known for their larger displacement engines and for their race-oriented construction.
