There was a time I was obsessed with explore...I have so little time on flickr anymore I haven't thought much about it....even deleted a lot of my explored images....could kick myself for that one! lol But what I really appreciate more than anything else on here are the friendships, the constructive advise and the joy of your images!

Kristen, my daughter, Lyric's mommy has always loved music! She set out on the road to becoming a writer and artist even moving to Nashville and making a demo. God's plans for her were different.....he brought her back to Georgia, gave her a wonderful husband and three beautiful children....my grandchildren, Lily, Levi & Lyric! Kristen's plans no longer include being a writer and artist....but she has found her joy in walking with the Lord and in his plans for her life in being a wife and mother!

Lyric
This is a vintage marquee sign from what used to be the Lyric movie theater in Lapeer. The theater was built in the 1920's and closed down in the 1970's. It at first only ran silent films of course, but in 1928 it began to run the new "talkies". From what I could gather, it became a mall of some sort. I found this in an antique store (Past Tense) /Cider Mill hanging above the doorway and I thought it was cool ....even though all the lights were out of it :) I have a few more of these vintage signs to post later on!
