Plastic Caster Wheels

The Faultless Series 400-7700 Institutional Casters (Light to Medium Duty) are perfect for many applications. Available in sizes from 3" to 6" with plastic, rubber, polyurethane, and phenolic wheels available, one is certain to meet your needs. All casters in this series feature a zinc plated, corrosion resistant finish, fully annealed kingpins, and two full, independent rows of hardened, polished ball bearings in the swivel section. The casters are ideal for tool boxes, bakery racks, dollies, stock trucks, hotel ttrucks and other institutional uses requiring great mobility and smooth operation.

The TBE wheel (Thermoplastic rubber), one of our many available options in wheel selection. Others include our UPE (poly/plastic), BPE (PVC Elastomer/Plastic), SPE (Soft Thermoplastic Rubber).
The FUTURA Series is made of natural Nylon 6.0 with 30% fiber glass for greater strength. The double ball raceway design aids in performance as it enhances swiveling.
Available in 3" ~ 4" ~ 5" diameters, with a steel top plate or plastic, and with total locking brakes or without.
Failed wheelchair project
One of the wheelchairs didn't make it. Two plastic struts that help hold it open failed. So I finally had the excuse to use it for parts for another project. I stripped the chair down and decided to try and make a scooter. Well, scooters allow you to steer the front wheel instead of having two crazy caster back wheels. Oh well.
