I have felt slightly overwhelmed these past few weeks. Dealing with, job changes, taxes, student loan officers, fingers that wont heal, bad summer colds that morph into sinus infections, constant worry about money, pleasing everyone, pleasing no one, wondering if its ok to please me occasionally, my dad getting married all of a sudden, not able to afford the plane ticket to go visit him, facing the fact that I really dont want to go visit, identity crises, death threats, suffocating Alabama heat, no air conditioning in my car, deodorant under my cleavage, doll friendly restaurants, broken sewing machines, no swimming pool, no beach, an intense desire to move to Virginia, trying to get to level 70, being chastised for my choice not to have children, dreams of going back to India, rejection by the Peace Corps, working 40 hours in two and a half days, managers who expect too much, loneliness....

Deal old dears
I was walking back along the pier at Deal with my partner and a friend of ours, we stopped to chat and I saw these old ladies talking opposite us. We were stood there, so I took this shot from the hip, hence no great framing or composition. I decided, once home that it looked good in B&W but also added a infrared style of processing hence the vivid sky and contrast.
