A tree vine, blooming with tropical flowers, and hung with fruit, is the perch for a fabulous parrot.

The parrot is life sized; the fruits and flowers are larger than life size. This was obviously great for cushions. And the way the tree, leaves, and vine flow up the fabric, with the bright tones of the flowers punctuating it, made it wonderful for curtains as well.

But, to cut it to get all of the different elements in a single cut, was difficult. To get all parts of the pattern in a cut, one had to cut through parrots above and below, wasting those parrots.
