Microwave Bean Bags
- A bean bag (also beanbag) is a sealed bag containing dried beans, PVC pellets or expanded polystyrene, with various applications.
- (Bean Bag) rounds fire a nylon bag filled with tiny shots. The 'punch' effect of the bag is useful for knocking down aggressors and are used by police to subdue violent suspects. These rounds are sometimes used by wildlife officials to non-lethally subdue wild animals.

Educational Insights Number Bean Bags
Pre-K & up. Count on number fun with these sturdy, lightweight bean bags. Each 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" bean bag is embroidered with a number (1 to 20) on one side and its number word (one to twenty) on the other. Even numbers are embroidered in blue, and odd number are embroidered in red for easy identification. The bean bags come in a handy cloth storage bag with a Tip Sheet of beginning math activities for large and small groups, from number identification and counting to simple addition and subtraction.

You left behind a microwave, a beanbag chair with a rip in the side, and me. I needed the microwave, but the beanbag chair with a rip in the side… well… I brought it all the way down 4 flights of stairs, but I just couldn’t drag it across the yard and out to the dumpster in the alley. So I left it sitting there - partly on the cobblestone patio we put in last year – but mostly off. I pretend it’s intentional – it’s funky lawn furniture – in reality, though – it’s just funky. All winter long it sat there – the rip growing larger – I’m guessing it’s the work of possum – or stray cats – or rats – or June bugs (although it’s only May)…
Yeah… it’s full of funk. It’s killing the lawn – but it keeps me connected while I feel utterly disconnected – shuffled around and misconnected. I grew into you while you grew out of me. (how can you tell which is the side of a bean-bag chair?) Sometimes – when I remember us together – I think I only remember me.

Why did I contribute????!?!?! Seriously?!?!?! Because I love you guys!! I do! You remind me of my art studio storefront days/daze... Double-Bean Burritos
COOKING LIGHT
1 (3 1/2-ounce) bag boil-in-bag brown rice
1 cup chunky bottled salsa
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
6 (10-inch) flour tortillas
6 tablespoons bean dip (such as Frito Lay)
3/4 cup (3 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese with jalapeno peppers
1 peeled avocado, cut into 6 slices
12 cilantro sprigs
6 lime wedges (optional)
Cook rice according to package directions, omitting salt and fat.
While rice cooks, combine salsa and black beans in a small saucepan; cook over medium heat 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Stack tortillas; wrap stack in damp paper towels. Microwave at high 25 seconds or until warm.
Spread 1 tablespoon bean dip over each tortilla; top each tortilla with 1/4 cup rice, 1/3 cup black bean mixture, 2 tablespoons cheese, 1 avocado slice, and 2 cilantro sprigs; roll up. Serve with lime wedges, if desired.
Yield: 6 servings (serving size: 1 burrito)
