You will need:
- One crochet hook size 2.5mm
- Yarn in red, brown and green
- Stitch marker or a paper clip (optional)
- Yarn and embroidery needles
- Embroidery thread in black and pink
- Fibrefill to stuff the cherries


Abbreviations:
CH – chain
ST – stitch
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet
HDC – half double crochet
DC - double crochet
SC DEC – single crochet decrease (decrease over 2 stitches)

Skill level
- Beginner to advanced beginner with knowledge of crocheting in the round, increasing, and decreasing.

¦ Cherry with red yarn ¦
Round 1Start 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
Round 22 sc in each sc around (12)
Round 3*2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc* repeat 6 times (18)
Rd 4 to 6sc in each sc around (18)
Round 7* sc dec, sc in next sc* repeat 6 times (12)
Stuff firmly
Round 8sc dec around (6)
Sl st in next sc and fasten off, leaving long tail
Make 2

¦ Stalk with brown yarn ¦
Ch 26 and fasten off, leaving long tail to sew onto the cherries

¦ Leaf with green yarn ¦
Ch 8, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc, *sl st – ch – sl st in last ch*
Now working the other side of the chain
sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc, sl st. Leave long tail to sew on the stalk
Make 2

¦ Assembly ¦
- Embroider the eyes with 2 strands of black thread
- Double French knot the cheeks with 2 strands of pink thread
- With a yarn needle and the tail of red yarn, close up the hole of the cherries
- With brown yarn, sew stalk onto both cherries.
- Finally sew the leaves on the stalk
