One of our top sellers in our men's ring section, this is a bold and attractive ring to surprise him with. With a beautiful gold setting etched with geometric shapes, the ring features a large, sparkling oval gemstone of your choice, surrounded by two shimmering diamonds, all set into a beautiful setting.This men's ring features a 8x6mm oval-cut ruby center stone, accented by 2 sparkling diamonds. The total gem weight for the ring is 1.5 carats, set in solid 14k gold. The band is 7/16 of an inch at its widest point tapering down to 1/8 of an inch at the back, and is 3/16 of an inch high off the finger.

I found a ton of these in a 2nd hand bookshop about 10 years ago,
bought a couple and have not seen their like since. Apparently they
were called 'sweat mags', cos they were full of stories about butch men
doing sweaty things. This one is from the early 60s, I think.

I'll have to scan some of the internal stuff in - loads of adverts for jobs in the meat industry, appropriately enough.

Wax model for a ring that's been in the works for a few months now. It's since been cast and two tube settings have been added at either side of the ruby for diamonds.

Will be 18k yellow with 18k Palladium white settings.
