This O-Flash Macro Flash unit is a unique adapter for your hot-shoe flash unit designed to replicate the lighting effect produced by traditional, expensive, and heavy powered studio ring flash units. The most best tools for macro photography. And it is portable and lightweight, has been designed to take advantage of a camera's TTL metering capabilities. Because this flash relies on the hot-shoe flash to generate its light, it contains no electronics, no flash tubes and requires no cumbersome cables. The light distribution is accomplished through a sophisticated system of internal prisms, reflectors and light-shapers designed to distribute and project the light evenly around the lens. LED Macro Ring Flash Light

This LED macro ring flash constantly emits light and provides permanent illumination for your subject. Here are some reasons why this ring light is a great tool to add to your photography setup:

Ideal for close up photography
When positioning your camera close to the subject during close up photography, your camera is likely to block the light coming from another source. Using a regular hot shoe flash won’t be ideal as the lens barrel is likely to block light coming from atop your camera hot shoe. This is where a ring flash light positioned in front of the lens can help!

Adjustable output power
With a flick of a button, you can adjust the light output from full power (whole ring flash on), half power left (only left half LED on) and half power right (only right half LED on).

After purchasing the Neewer Macro Ring Flash and .45x Adapter I decided to throw them on my 18mm kit lens together to see what would happen. It drops the zoom down to 8.1mm allowing the lens to pick up the actual walls of the Macro Flash Ring... pretty sweet. :)
