Some of you that have been with my photostream for a while, remember back when I started doing my self portraits it was to force myself to get in front of the camera and challenge myself, since I literally loathed looking at photos of myself. I'm proud to say that it has become so much easier for me to be ok with pictures of me, I'm sure some people think you have to be some what self obsessed to take photos of yourself, but honestly it is a complete emotional release for me, a way to take on another character for a moment, to pretend to be in a different universe where little things just dont matter, where life is perfect.
Last night I felt very helpless. No matter how much control I think I have and no matter how many good decisions I make, there is always something that is completely out of my control..(wont get into it, just very furstrating). So what did I do? Put on a fun sparkly red night shirt that I haven't put on in YEARS and took some pictures. Escape
PS:I evidently took on a daring character last night since without my intention this turned into a belly shirt :P lol. I almost didnt post it but thought what the hell who cares.

this was actually a remake of a fellow 365ers picture. I loved it and she was showing her belly jewelry so I wanted to show mine.
my bottom belly bottom piercing is god... 7 years old
the top is 4 or 5 years old.
and my two surface piercings are going on 3 years in June.
