"Will you stop that? People are NOT looking at us because of our hats! What's wrong with our hats anyway? It's not like they're clown hats, or something weird. They're just ordinary hats! Besides, you're the one who got them for us. You wanted us to be cute and matchey-matchey. And even though I resisted at first, I've grown to kind of like them. Why are YOU feeling all self-conscious, all of a sudden?"

"I don't know...I don't know...I think I may have made a mistake..."

"Seriously? You're not kidding here? Look...if you want to take off your hat, go ahead. But I'm still wearing mine."
