My Father's Wedding Ring

My Father's Wedding Ring

My mother claimed to be the first bride in Preston to promise to "love, honour and CHERISH" rather than "love, honour and OBEY."

My father claimed to be the first man in Preston to wear a ring on his wedding finger. It is a monogrammed signet ring, and bears the initials "GT" but it is too small for me to wear.

(I've been going through cupboards and all sorts of old stuff has turned up. Expect to see more)

Wedding Ring Injury

Wedding Ring Injury

Had to take my wedding ring in to get resized. I've been about 128 pounds my whole life. Over the past year and a half or so, I've jumped to the point where my finger has grown a whole ring size. This is the result of trying to get it off my hand the last time I wore it.

I know ... "have another hamburger, Ron"
