Phoenix Ring Flash
PHOENIX RING FLASH. MENS RINGS MELBOURNE.

Ideal for cataloging small items and focusing on details. Cameras fitted with normal lights or flashes do not permit us to move closer than a certain minimum distance from the object being photographed. The Digital Macro Ring Flash, which is simply mounted in the front of our normal photo taking lens, permits the taking of close-ups and also makes possible the photography of details which would be quite impossible without using the Digital Macro Ring Flash. Ms. October, Ava, Out take
I was going through my files and realized I hadn't uploaded out takes from the last 3/4 of the 2009 Fox Calendar!
This was one of my favorites, an out take of Ms. October 2009, Ava, shot at The Phoenix Theater. It was about 105 degrees that afternoon and we had already done a shoot that day!-the model was such a trooper! It was out last shoot of the calendar!
The proceeds from the calendar went to a local breat cancer center.
I will put a few more out takes up over the next few days.
Slug vs. The Ants
Slug loses. This reminds me of old whaling photos with sailors swarming over a whale carcass stripping it. Taken with a Phoenix RF46N ring flash held off to the side for better lighting and to get rid of ring shaped reflections from the flash. It's the main disadvantage of the ring flash: shiny things reflect a ring-shaped highlight. Quantaray 50mm F2.8 macro lens
