This self inking stamp is ideal for rapid, repetitive stamping because the die automatically re-inks itself by rotating into a self-contained, double-sided ink pad. Ordinary ink pads offer a certain number of impressions before they begin to fade. When this happens, the pad needs to be re-inked or replaced. Not so with a reversible pad. When the impressions begins to fade, simply slide the pad out, flip it over, and reinsert to instantly double the life. RAW 13/52 Custom Ring
This is a custom ring I made for a friend. The band is metal clay. Fired flat and then soldered at the ends. The bezel "cup" is a piece of copper wire that I hammered flat and soldered to the band. Inside is a green garnet YAG. Around the band, I wanted to give it a rusty, decayed look. I thought about flowing copper solder in the texture, but that doesn't work the way I want it to. Instead, I filled it with transparent Chestnut Thompson enamel. It kind of balled up, and I'm not sure why. However, I love the look it gave! The enamel also opalized a bit on the edges and has this amazing green color! The close up pictures kind of make it look messy, but it really isn't.

A co-worker commissioned me to make this custom chain maille finger ring for her. It was made with sterling silver and gold filled rings hand cut and coiled by me in a Japanese 12-2 weave.
