Wedding Puzzle Ring - Notre Dame Class Ring
- A traditional puzzle ring is a type of finger ring made up of four, six, eight, or twelve interconnected rings. Contemporary designs include rings of three, five or seven bands. Puzzle rings often appear to be endless knots. Many think this points to Celtic heritage.

Enjoy testing your mettle at putting things back together with Hanayama cast Ring II brain teaser puzzle. This is a clever puzzle which involves weaving the five metal rings back together into a single smooth band. The puzzle comes apart with ease.
Fairly challenging to put back together. NO force ever required, just clever positioning. The manufacturer rates it as a level 5 on a scale of 1 to 6. (Where 6 is most difficult, 1 least difficult). Rating are always subjective.
The puzzle measures /ranges approximately 1.5 to 1.75 inches (inside and outside diameters.) A little big to be worn on ones finger
RING II is part of a series of 35 plus cast metal brain teasers manufacturered by the Hanayama Toy Company of Japan.
As a side note for those familiar with Puzzle Rings: RING II is a slightly different interlocking design from the famous, many hundred year old, Turkish Wedding Puzzle Band Ring.

Susan and I got marriede April 19th 2008. These area our custom-made wedding rings.
Two kinds and colours of gold. A redish and a yellowish gold alloy.
The outer rings with the key-like teeth were cut from one piece, symbolising that Susan and I complement eachother well - like two pieces in a jig-saw puzzle.
The rings were made by the Danish jeweler John Spohr, Vordingborg.
They were designed and photographed by yours truely; architect Jens Bladt, Koge .
