This is the kind of scenery that you can expect when driving around the Ring of Kerry, one of the top tourist attractions in Ireland.
Sadly. Because Ireland doesn't seem to have realized that if you want a lot of tourists to look at something, you might want to widen those roads a little, and maybe even put up signs that tell you where to go (I know, crazy idea).
Although the scenery was beautiful to look at during those rare hours when it didn't rain, I didn't really enjoy traveling in that area that much (and the prizes are a complete rip-off).
I hope I didn't offend anybody.

Little winding road around lakes - Ring of Kerry, Ireland

Barry took Corinne back to his homeland & booked a 3 week guided tour with Cosmos. Part 1 - England & Wales: The couple meet friends & sightsee in London before taking off to visit King Henry VIII's magnificent Hampton Court palace, the ancient stone monument of Stonehenge, 13th century Salisbury Cathedral & Plymouth, port of departure for the Mayflower in 1620. Part 2 - Ireland: Welcome to the "Emerald Isle", a land of poets, potatoes & pints of Guiness. The couple start at Waterford, famous for crystal, continue on to kiss the Stone of Eloquence at Blarney Castle & overnight at Killarney. They drive the 100 mile panoramic "Ring of Kerry", enjoy a medieval banquet at Knappogue Castle, head north to the dramatic Cliffs of Moher, Galway & finally end up in Dublin, the fair city. They walk the streets of Molly Malone & attend a lively Irish cabaret show, before crossing the Irish Sea to Hollyhead in Wales.
