My girlfriend's Valentine's Day present. (Well really it was a present it was just coincidentally around Valentine's Day - we're both not fans of the commercialization).

Best viewed large. Sadly the smaller version doesn't show off the detail in the ring as well as the large version. Then again there is a lot "technically" wrong with the photo.

430 EX used to add some fill flash by bouncing off a wall. Wish I'd brought my wireless triggers - it'd have been more fun to snoot it with a spotlight - but that's for another day.

At lunch today I went off to my local Lowes hardware and picked up these O-Rings. These are the O-Rings that Cale Leiphart uses on his Power Function trains to replace the standard o-ring that comes on the RC train wheels (not the drivers). The standard 0-rings do not provide enough grip, especially for very large locomotives (Allegheny anyone?), so hopefully this will solve all my future problems.

They're cheap enough with which to experiment, anyway, less than $2 a package (I bought two, almost picked up a third... hint hint...)
