Ah the gear for a wedding day. This shot was actually taken for a class speech I have to give on Thursday. The speech is about why you should use a professional photographer over an amateur photographer (during super important events).

While I far from believe that gear makes or breaks a deal when it comes to Professional photographers, I do believe redundancy is super important.

In my new, straightened circumstances, I'm having to consider parting with a few images. Friday, at the Liberty Antiques Show, in anticipation of such a brutal necessity, I bought this image, with the intention of selling it. Prior to that realization, i.e., brutal necessity, I would have bought the image with the intention of keeping it.
In the world of "gay interest," this photo has a number of things going for it. Moustaches are huge, cigars are very good, and guys sitting on other guy's laps, it doesn't get a whole lot better than that. Here, you've got five out of six with moustaches, you've got not one but two lap-sitters, and, objectively speaking, I think these are six fairly handsome guys. I think those shoes are a little gay too, but I'm no expert on shoes. How the American flag got in here, and what else is going on with this photo, I have no clue. One guy has a wedding ring on, so he must be on the down low.
