While either element will work just fine, cobalt has a higher tendency to have adverse reactions with some people's skin. This is why we use nickel. Although in some extremely rare cases a customer will discover he or she has an allergy to nickel, our rings are generally considered to be hypo-allergenic.

titanium and 14k gold wedding set
These were a custom order and the first set of these I have made where the bands are different widths. The wider band is 1/4" and the narrower 3/16".
I think this is a great set like this-- the narrower band is a great woman's ring despite having a strong masculine, industrial feel to it.
