About Crosman

The final reason to build a new motor,the piston had no pitting or erosion on the piston crown and I never seen any "pepper" on the plugs but the rings were very loose in the lands and I know it had alot of ring flutter.The engine also used oil,and this was just a cheap set of pistons to start with so I did not think it was from detonation.

Tom and I bought this for $25 and had to pound the siezed piston out. The rings were shot so it only ran at higher rpms. I think we only short tracked it once. Cheap fun and noisey as all get out.
