- A wedding ring or wedding band is a metal ring indicating the wearer is married. Depending on the local culture, it is worn on the base of the right or the left ring finger. The custom of wearing such a ring has spread widely beyond its origin in Europe.

A Cord of Three Strands
I took some shots of my wife's ring the other day using my macro lens and my flash. Boy I love that flash.
The thought behind getting the Celtic pattern on the ring comes from Ecclesiastes 4:12...
"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
My wife and I believe that God is the third strand in our relationship. Not only does he keep us together but he also allows us to handle situations that we would otherwise be too weak to deal with.
...like going back to work on the first full week in 2010... UGH!
