All e-Reader from TrekStor come with LCD screen and have a battery life of eight hours.
TrekStor has four e-readers presented in his series "TrekStor eBook Player. There are two 5-inch and two 7-inch models to choose from - with or without video function. WLAN and UMTS are lacking; downloaded books must be transmitted by cable from the PC to the E-Reader.
All four readers come with an LCD in 16:9 format. The screen has a maximum brightness of 2 candelas per square meter and triggers a maximum of 800 by 480 pixels. E-books can be read in either portrait or landscape mode. The font size can be adjusted in five steps.
The 5-inch versions (5/5M) weigh 187 grams and measuring 15.5 by 1.1 times 9.7 cm. TrekStor Reader with 7-inch (7/7M) have a weight of 373 grams and is 20.6 times 13.3 by 1.4 inches tall. All devices have an internal memory of 2 GB, which allows using MicroSD or SD card to upgrade to 32 GB.
They support the formats ePub, PDF, TXT, and Adobe Acrobat DRM. There is also a bookmark feature.
The integrated MP3 player also controls the playing of the audio formats WMA, OGG and WAV. The output is built-in speakers or a Jack; Of headphones Sennheiser are included. The 5M and 7M models also support video playback in AVI, H.264, MPEG2, MPEG4, WMV9 and MKV.
