Pauline Reese - Just Getting Started 2010
Alt.-country angel Pauline Reese’s sixth album, JUST GETTING STARTED (Front Porch Music Group; Oct. 19, 2010), and its first single, “First Love,” both showcase a voice called “top-notch” by those in the know, and Willie Nelson calls her “my favorite female artist.” The name of the new album — co-produced by the highly acclaimed Justin Pollard, who co-wrote Pat Green’s “Wave on Wave” hit — reflects Reese’s status on the Up Side of Life, including this year being the first woman named Entertainer of the Year by the Texas Music Association. Playing more than 150 shows a year with her band, Reese has carved her name in the male-dominated music business, touring with such notable Texas acts as Cory Morrow, Jack Ingram, Kevin Fowler and Green.
