Have you ever observed that we pay much more attention to a wise passage when it is quoted than when we read it in the original author?
I said to myself, I have things in my head that are not like what anyone has taught me - shapes and ideas so near to me - so natural to my way of being and thinking that it hasn't occurred to me to put them down. I decided to start anew, to strip away what I had been taught.
There's so much pollution in the air now that if it weren't for our lungs there'd be no place to put it all.

It's takin' whatever comes your way, the good AND the bad, that give life flavor. It's all the stuff rolled together that makes life worth livin'.
