Wozniacki v F. Schiavone
Betting Preview on International WTA - 25 January 2011

I’m a bit perplexed about this total on today's match between these two players, I do recognise that Schavonne in particular is coming off a marathon match against Kuznetsova, however Wozniacki herself has cruised though this Tournament to date without any troubles at all, the way Schiavone is playing t present she could provide a far stiffer hurdle in this match up.
Caroline Wozniacki has come though this tournament unscathed so far and is yet to drop a set against Dulko (6 -3 ), ( 6-4 ), King (6 -1 ), ( 6-0 ), Cibulkova (6 -4 ), (6 - 3)and Sevastova ( 6- 3), (6 -4 ), 3 of her 4 matches so far this tournament have ended in exactly 19 games and she has looked the gods throughout. Previous results this season for Wozniacki are slim with her only other match this season being the loss against Cibulkova at the Medibank International in which she lost (3-6), (3-6), she did though gain revenge for that loss during this Tournament.
Francesca Schiavone on the other hand should be the tiredest Women's player left in the draw, 3 of her 4 matches so far have ended in 3 sets with matches against Parra Santonja (7 - 6 ), ( 6-2 ),(6 -4 ), Marino (6 - 3 ), (5 -7 ), ( 9- 7), Niculescu ( 6- 0), (7 - 6) and Kuznetsova ( 6-4 ), ( 6-1 ), ( 16-14 )., So based on that look at her progress to date sho should be tired headed into this match. However she has played Hopman Cup and at the Medibank Invitational and has been playing well. In 8 matches played for her to date this season 6 have been 3 sets or more and 6 have resulted in Tie Breaks in her matches.
Head to head and from what I can find these two have met on 4 different occasions with either player winning 2 a piece, In 2008 at the Zurich Open Schiavone took the honours (7 – 6), (6-2) then in 2010 these two met 3 times, first at the French Open where Schiavone was on fire eventually winning the Tournament (6 – 2), (6-3), then in the Rodgers Cup it was Wozniacki in straight sets (6-3), (6-2) and their last meeting was at the Sony Erickson Championships in which Wozniacki was triumphant in 3 sets ( 3-6 ), (6 - 1), (6 – 1). Two have gone over this total set today and two have fallen under, Only once has there even been a tie break between these two players.
All in all Wozniacki should be the fav here based on her ranking and her court time, but I am thinking that Schiavone has come though some hard matches and should have some degree of confidence about her today, based on what Schiavone has served up so far I reckon this could be a very tough and long match…Good Luck.
