Russian nickel exports from January to July rose 0.8% to 139,600 tons
MOSCOW, September 8, according to sources, the Russian Federal Customs Service Office data released Monday showed January-July this year, Russia exported 139,600 tons of nickel, compared with growth of 0.8% over the same period in 2007.
7 months before the total value of nickel exports 3.446 billion U.S. dollars, down from last year's 5.52 billion U.S. dollars.
Countries outside the CIS totaled 130,200 tons of nickel exports, worth 3.431 billion U.S. dollars, compared to 139,200 tons last year, valued at 5.501 billion U.S. dollars.
