First of the season
I think summer is my favorite time of the year because all the amazing produce that arrives. This Monday I went to Union Square Greenmarket and it was packed! I wish I could've bought everything. It was the first time to see apricots and golden plums that were super sweet and juicy and a bit tart on the outside. I was happy to smell and taste fruit as it is supposed to taste, which brought me back to Croatia for a moment...
I tried some of the tomatoes and they were pretty good, but I am going to wait a little more for the Heirloom :)
