ALBORQUES ONLINE ART GALLERY
The Alborques is an Online Art Gallery (www.alborques.com) whose mission is to disseminate worldwide art.
We currently have hundreds of Artists from various fields including painting, sculpture, photography, handicrafts, among others.
To belong to the group of Artists of Alborques you just have to carry out the Register and Submit your biography and works for display by filling out the various forms in the Artist reserved area.
This is a FREE Art Gallery, so the Artist does not support any cost, and there is no limit on the number of pieces for exhibition.
If you have questions or need any further clarification, please contact us by the e-mail Alborques@gmail.com.
YEARBOOK OF ARTS 2010
In order to enhance and give greater visibility to artists, the Alborques intends to publish several books with works from artists exhibited at the gallery.
The first literary projects supported by will be the publication of the Yearbook of the Arts 2010 and a book that will make the connection between painting and poetry (book of poems written by the artist André Gaglianone on several works on display at the site).
These projects will be performed through several phases, being the first to obtain information of the artists who are interested in participating in these 2 publications.
Among the artists who want to join these projects, we will choose those which have the highest quality, giving a prevalence to those that most contribute to the dissemination of the gallery by participating in the collective exhibitions that Alborques has organized and to the artists that most visits and comments made on pages of other artists.
We have not yet the information of the predicted price of the books, but we ensure that the project just will advance in the case that, unlike other similar publications, there is no cost or commitment to the artists to take into these projects, as standard in all that concerns Alborques.
We are always at your disposal if you want to clarify any questions.
Best regards,

Cumprimentos

Poštovani èlanovi Društva hrvatskih haiku pjesnika, i ostali haiku pjesnici,

How to Submit Photographic-Art
Please, do not submit photographs that relies solely on color to convey meaning. The aim of the Photographic-Art page will be to foster the development of a B/W Photographic Haiga tradition, encouraging photographic artists to design black and white images that resonate with their haiku/senryu/tanka.
In B/W the language of colour gives way to a language of shape, line and tone and so, on the Photographic-Arts page, we hope to explore the resonances between word images and those of shapes, lines and tones in black and white.
In this spirit, please send black and white images, not colour, that are not under consideration elsewhere, nor entered in any competition at the time sent, or within the time it takes to receive a response. Appearance in any online publication (with the exception to workshops or lists) does constitute prior publication.
To ensure quality images the longest dimension should be at least 2500 pixels wide. Any format will be fine ie: jpg, tiff, psd etc.
Send Photographic images to Jim Swift, oston@shawbiz.ca
