Now comes news that next spring the Doctor is to be regenerated, played by the brilliant Chris Eccleston, an actor of huge, brooding range. It sounds rather promising behind the scenes, too, with Russell T Davies, of Queer As Folk, and Mark Gatiss, of The League of Gentlemen, commissioned to write episodes. A fine team. Just a pity they couldn't be assembled for a worthwhile project.Sadly articles like this, bitter that they are, will bring out the stereotype DW fans that he mentions and just prove a point. The article does seem terribly childish.
