Leeland is a Christian pop and rock band hailing from Baytown, TX. Though the lead singer, Leeland Mooring, was only 17 during the recording of their debut album, their music has been widely accepted. Also, in spite of their overtly Christian lyrics, their melodic-driven sound has appealed to the secular market as well.The band's original line-up included Jeremiah Wood, but he left the band in late 2006, and was replaced by guitarist Matt Campbell in late spring of 2007. Leeland has released two studio albums, and received a Grammy Award nomination and two Dove Award nominations for their debut album Sound of Melodies. Love Is on the Move is the third studio album.
