EPM BILTEN 2

Dear friends!
After 11 years we are, at last, in motherland of majorettes, in France. 200 years ago majorettes start in France and it was EMA’s biggest wish to have championship in France and again to make France center of majorettes’ dance. So, this year European majorettes’ championship will be something special, something what we will remember.
Alen Šæuric, EMA president

!!! IMPORTANT – MUSIC JUST ON CD – IMPORTANT!!!
From 2006 music can be performed just if it is on CD. If the CD is not usable (can not be played) team will be disqualified or will get negative points.

ENTRY FEE
At EMC, entry fee is 50 EUR per each group, 30 EUR per duo and 15 EUR per solo. That means each group in each category (i.e. one team is qualified in pom-pom and baton = this team must pay 2 fees or 100 EUR together for both groups). Fee must be paid during accreditation on 11th September 2009.

BRING A SIMBOLIC PRESENT FOR MAYOR OF FOURAS
Audience on Saturday 12th September at 9:00 h
in Salons du Parc, Avenue du Bois Vert
As every team will get present by Mrs. Sylvie Marcilly, Mayor of Fouras it is polite that teams also present back some typical present from the area the team is coming from. Present can be some typical souvenir or bottle of wine or something like that. Representative of the team will present this present to the Mayor during the audience.

In each delegation can be one majorette from each age category from one team + one head of team (for example one cadet, one junior, one senior majorette and trainer of Medness Cluj).
Audience is on Saturday at 9:00 hours in Dalons du Parc, Avenue du Bois Vert (10-15 minutes walking from Arena)

ACCREDITATION
In RUE VAUBAN, near Fort and EMC Arena, in Tend for catering (meals)
on Thursday 10th September from 13.30-14.00 h
or on Friday 11th September from 10.00-12.00 h
Teams must come to accreditation on Thursday 10th September 1009 from 13.30 – 14.00 hours or on Friday 11th September 2009 from 10.00 – 12.00 hours in Tend for catering (meals) near EMC Arena (Fort) in Rue Vauban. Teams who will not make registration in that time will not be able to have official training, and even can happen that it will not participate in 11th EMC.

IN CASE OF RAIN
Sport hall (Salle Omnisport Roger Rondeau), Avenue de Treuil
1. If there would be rain on Friday, competition will be in Sport hall in Fouras.
2. If there would be rain on Saturday, competition will be in Sport hall in Fouras.
3. If there would be rain on Sunday, competition will be in Sport hall in Fouras.
4. LITTLE RAIN IS NO RAIN! Group leaders must ask if teams are to go to sport hall before they go. DON’T GO TO SPORT HALL JUST BECAUSE YOUR INTUITION AND WITHOUT CHECKING FIRST! Information about competition in case of rain will be given in judging room.

MEALS
Information about food which was organized by producer, will be given to team leaders at the accreditation.
Meals are served in Tend for catering near arena (see plan).
For meals teams will get tickets which every participant must have before entering into tend. If participants will not have ticket they can not have meals. Teams are obligated to calculate tickets during accreditation.
During accreditation teams will get precise timing for all meals. Teams have to be in front tends on precise time. Teams which will be latte will not have meal in time of timing but will have meal last, after all teams (doesn’t meter if they will because of that lost competition right). It can even happened that team which will be late will have meals 2 hour letter (after all teams in timing). There is no way that because of team who will be late one team has to wait more).

IMPORTANT SECURITY INFORMATION!

Adult Child Ratios. EMA believes that to enable supervision to be effective we will need to advertise a ratio of 1 adult to 5 children. By supervision we presume that adult have to be with child all the time, and not only by formal number of adults.
Property treatment. Please treat the property, facilities and accommodation with respect and care so that other guests may continue to enjoy them. In the event that you notice damage to any facility or in your accommodation please report in to welcome desk (information) immediately so that we can take appropriate action. Accommodation will be inspected at the end of championship and you may be charged for any loss or damage found. EMA reserves the right to enter accommodation under any special circumstances or emergencies.
PENALIZATION OF INCIDENTS DURING EC. For safety of all majorettes, audience and all other participants of the EMC we find ourselves entitled to, without any warning or consequences remove any person, even a competitor, from the Championship as well as from any of the places the Championship is taking place on. If therefore some team shall not be able to perform, it is the problem of the competitors, and it will not influence the decision of the organizer. Any kind of rude, immoral and unsportsmanlike behavior displayed by any person with accreditation, minor or not, will not be at all tolerated. It is strictly forbidden for all persons with accreditations (competitors, trainers and noncompetitors) to comment, insult or attack anybody inside the arena or any other competition zone (A, B, C or D). Serious offenders will be taken away by the police, and there will be criminal charges brought against them.
INSURANCE. All persons with accreditations and all those who participate in EMC have to arrange insurance (health, injury, damage, accident) for themselves by themselves, because EMA and organizers will not accept responsibility for any kind of injury, damage or accident, and will not make any amends. EMA and the organizers did all that was in their power to maximize prevention and reaction to any damage (health care and emergency service at the arena, security service…), but the health insurance and insurance in foreign countries has to be arranged by every team for their members. This regulation is considered as a legal regulation that is accepted by every participant at the accreditation.
