After the surprise success of her debut single 'Mama Do (UhOh Uh Oh)', Kent-born starlet Pixie Lott's debut album deals in the same brand of sassy teen-pop. Most of the songs here are potential singles, and all have Lott's signature bouncy pop sensibility. Most notable aside from her chart-toppingdebut release are 'Here We Go Again' (produced by the legendary RedOne) and the singles 'Boys And Girls' and 'Cry Me Out'. Lott herself shares writing credits on many of the songsthat make up this first foray.
"Turn It Up" is the forthcoming debut album by British singer/songwriter Pixie Lott. It is due to be released on7 September 2009 through Mercury Records. The album should contain Pixie's debut single, Mama Do (released 11 May 2009) and follow up single
Lott has collaborated with a number of high profile songwriters for her debut album, including Cutfather and Jonas Jeburg (Kylie, Pussycat Dolls), Lily and Beck collaborator Greg Kurstin, Red One (Lady Gaga's 'Just Dance'), hit songwriter Ruth Ann Cunningham, Toby Gad (the NY-based producer and songwriter), and Kara DioGuardi, superstar songwriter and new American Idol judge.
