Well, today was the first day of the Michael King trial for the murder of Denise Amber Lee. I thought I was prepared for it, but as I watched and listened, I realized just how wrong I was. I was on the verge of tears many times, especially when listening to the opening statement, the quotes from Denise&s 911 call, and the testimony from Shawn Johnson. Shawn apparently heard Denise screaming from King&s car, on 41 in North Port. He thought it might be a prank and didn&t ...
