Yet another security flaw has been brought to the attention of iPhone users, this time found out by Matt Janssen. This flaw allows a hacker to view all deleted emails on the device.
The other flaw I speak of is the flaw that was recently found out by cybersecurity experts Charlie Miller and Collin Mulline in the SMS app that could potentially allow hackers to take complete control of a device simply by sending them 1 SMS.
This bug was discovered by searching emails using the OS 3.0 Spotlight feature. Matt noticed that all the emails he deleted where coming up but didn’t open on the first time (it made the Mail app crash) but on the second try, they would open and show the COMPLETE deleted email.
