Red Riders are an indie rock band from Sydney, Australia, that have emerged from the same scene that has thrown up the likes of Dappled Cities, The Red Sun Band and Expatriate. After releasing two EPs and a single, the band released their debut album in October 2006.
Drown In Colour, released July 10, 2009, is the sophomore album from Red Riders. It was released under the Ivy League Records label. The album was produced by Woody Annison (Pound System, Rocket Science). It was recorded at Megaphon Studios, Petersham, Sydney and mixed at Studio One in Collingwood, Melbourne. The entire recording, mixing and mastering process was completed over the course of four weeks in early 2009. It is the first Red Riders release featuring new guitarist Brad Heald, replacing Adrian Deutsch who embarked on a solo career after touring to support Replica Replica
