Groenlinks win 3 Seats in European Parliament(one more than in 2004)

The European Elections have got off to a great start for the European Greens as it has been announced in the Netherlands that Groenlinks has won 3 seats in the European Parliament , an excellent result as that is one more than in the previous elections(It is also one more than was announced last night after the polling stations closed!)With around 9% of the vote, Groenlinks have shown there is a real demand for our Green New Deal! This result is even better when one takes into account that the Netherlands now only has 25 seats in the Parliament, instead of 27 seats previously. (Unfortunately the extreme rightwing politician Geert Wilders and his PVV party have won 4 seats: this is bad news for the Netherlands and for the EU as a whole.)
Congratulations (Proficiat!!) to the 3 new Groenlinks MEPs,Judith Sargentini, Bas Eickhout and Marije Cornelissen, who we are sure, will make a valuable contribution to the work of the Green Group in the European Parliament. We hope you, like many Dutch voters have done, say yes to the Green New Deal and Think Big, Vote Green.”

Da ukratko prevedemo...Naši dragi prijatelji iz Nizozemske su na EU izborima probili led i osvojili tri mjesta u EU parlamentu, jedan više nego zadnji puta..Naravno, najveće zadovoljstvo je da je predstavnik Zelene ljevice iz Nizozemske, dragi prijatelj Zelene liste, Anne de Boer ovu dobru vijest priopćio u Hotelu Palace u Zagrebu na evaluaciji izbornog rezultata Zelene liste.
Kao što sam i najavio danas i sutra Zelena lista u sklopu GREEN EAST-WEST DILOGUE ima radionicu na kojoj učestvuju izabrani kandidati Zelene liste na lokalnim izborima te svi nositelji lista diljem Lijepe naše.Iz EU su nam došli pomoći u evaulaciji i planiranju za budučnost:Anne de Boer (Zelena ljevica Nizozemske),Albert Echard (Green Campus, Njemačka) kao i Žarko Puhlovski i Vedran Horvat (HBS) naši domači.
