A Perfect Evening in an elite restaurant: Wine Vault, Rovinj, Croatia
Concerning the fact that more and more visitors to my blog page come from abroad, I decided to start keeping track in English. I'm sure noone will have a problem with this.
This past Saturday, I took my wife to an exclusive restaurant in Rovinj, a pitoresque town on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula. The reason: 7th anniversary of our marriage.
The restaurant is situated in a top, 5-star hotel Monte Mulini, and bears the name of "Wine Vault", as it carries numerous sorts and types of wine on its rich wine list.
As you may have noticed, I don't have a habit of writing about anything not related to music, but this experience was something special. The hotel itself is GORGEOUS, and my wife was pleasantly surprised when she saw where we were going to dine:
The Wine Vault was a truly breath taking experience. Excellent atmosphere, a combination of classical and modern design elements, and a view to the hotel's pools and the sea nearby... I knew I made the right choice. My wife was delighted.

The dinner itself was impeccable, there is a big choice of vegetarian, fish and meat courses with an even bigger selection of wines from all around the world. The Wine Vault's Head-waiter is a renown Croatian sommelier who advised us a bottle of wonderful Australian red wine to go with our dishes. The service was impeccable throughout the evening.
A warm recommendation goes to anybody who might find themselves in Istria and in Rovinj - if you are in a search of that "special place", and which offers the best value for money which I had a chance to witness among various restaurants - pay a visit to the Wine Vault. It's definitely worth it.
I know where I am going to take my business partners in the future...
