The 2009 NYC Food and Restaurant Show
I am not sure if I wrote about this yast year, but it's definitely a show worth seeing. I visited the fair last year, but this time I enjoyed it much more since I knew most of the companies that were presenting. The show is three days long and there is also a wine section that I was very happy to attend, since I turned 21 this year :) I was surprised to see the famous Nobilo wine, who are my relatives that I visited back in New Zealand in 2004. It made me really proud!
When you go there, you need to be ready to taste all the time. I ate mostly cheese, but very good cheese (the Italian ones were my favorite). The highlight of the day was the pastry competition that I was really looking forward to seeing. There is usually a theme and this year it was Broadway - how interesting, there was Mary Poppins as well ;)
