A mozda nije slucajno niti da mi je mail mojih novih poljskih prijatelja, stigao bas danas - na Stepincevo! Pa i tu mogucu buducu suradnju preporucam i u vase molitve, i Kardinalov zagovor!
Dear Drina,
I am very grateful for your informative and very interesting answer. I have been
thinking about the situation of the children in your mission a lot since I got your
mail - there are no simple answers or solutions. Anyway something has to be done and it
is a miracle that there are such people as you who are willing to help.
I do not know yet what we will be able to do in order to help. At the moment I am
forwarding your mail to my friends and am showing it to some of my students. There is
so little knowledge about such exotic places and people seem to believe that they are
poor themselves and are more ready to receive help than to offer it.Which is only
partially true. It depends on how much you expect from life. And, besides, giving IS
receiving. You probably know it much better than I do.
I promise that your mission will be in our minds, although I cannot definitively say
how or when we will be able to offer something. Please pray for us and if anything in
particular comes to your mind in terms of help - let us know! We will be this summer in
Croatia - so will be able to send you some money from there. What appeals to me is also
going to Ecuador one day to do there more or less what you are doing. But now since our
youngest boy Tomek is only eight,Wojtek 13, Sara 16 and with her grandmother learning
in a big city - they still need us here - it seems. But on the other hand, one will
always find hundreds of excuses for not doing something that is so quite extraordinary.
If you find some time to write we will be grateful. What is your daily life like -
food, accomodation. What was your preparation - one year at the seminary - I believe.
And does the person to go there need to speak English and Spanish?
We offer you our prayers to start with. With God's help grand things are possible.
God bless you,
Darek
I dio mog odgovora...
Dear Darek!
I am very glad you have received my information, and that you can
use it with your friends and students! For all the big things,
the most important thing is to start, and God will lead us
straight away!
You can come to visit us with all your family, like my friends
Family Markic with their 4 sons did last year for
Pasha...Who knows, maybe this year for Pasha we shall have other
european family with us! : )
You do not have to know spanish (it is useful, but it can also be
learned here, during your stay with us...I also did not know the
word of spannish, when I came here, and know - I can speak with
all the Latin America : )
All of you are more than wellcome!
See you, when and where God opens the ways for us!
Many greetings to the always friendly Poland!
