Cake Competition!
Just a quick update - Stacey and I applied for the annual cake competition here at the CIA a little while ago, and we had to draw a sketch of our cake. The theme was Hollywood classics and we chose Mary Poppins! A few days ago we found out that our idea has been elected among 8 other ones. That means that in 2 weeks we will be competing in a 2 day challenge (about 8 hours total) and the CIA's Presedent as well as the Dean of Baking and Pastry Arts will be the judges. Exciting!!! :)
