You need to download median 2008:
Median 2008
Replace the median file PATCH_D2.mpq with the original one in the diablo 2 folder (make a backup copy of your original file)
And download BNGatewayEditor:
BNGateway Editor
After you have installed median 2008, open the Editor and do following:
select the diablo2/diablo2exp button
select the add Gateway button and write
Name: ReGWiZaR
Zone: 1
IP: d2.regwizar.com
Select the ReGWiZaR and press the button Set to Chosen Gateway.
Start the game, go to Battlenet (in the new case - (NoBattlenet)) (you will see the ReGWiZaR option) and make your account (it's free).
Have fun.
