Kilimanjaro is a snow covered mountain 19,710 feet high, and it is said to be highest
mountain in Africa. Its western summit is called the Masai "Ngaje Ngaji," the House
of God. Close to the western summit there is the dried and frozen carcass of a leopard.
No one has explained what the leopard was seeking at that altitude.
Ernest Hemingway, Snows of Kilimanjaro
Sad mi je jasnije zašto je tako.
Its soul, its whatness, leaps to us from the vestment of its appearance. The soul of
the commonest object, the structure of which is so adjusted, seems to us radiant.
The object achieves its epiphany. (Stephen Hero, Chapter XXV),
